Pink Flamingo Clothing Part 1: Off Shoulder Top

Pink Flamingo Clothing

Gone are those days when we had to travel to a mall to buy something amazing. Now, with e-commerce retail sites and online shopping, we can sit wherever we want and splurge away. Because I am absolutely obsessed with clothes and dressing up, I am almost always on the lookout for new places to shop from. And that’s when I spotted the newbie on the block- Pink Flamingo Clothing. It’s such a fun, fresh, pretty and young brand and since I am quite a girly girl myself, the clothes really resonated with me. I now have three items from this pretty start up in my closet.

Below is the first one. The other two are coming soon!

Psst.. You can check out my instagram for a sneak peak.

Tadaa.. Here it is:

Pink Flamingo Clothing

A bright orange off shoulder top. I have definitely caught onto the off shoulder trend, because it’s sexy and just a little flirty.

I loved the material. It isn’t flimsy at all. It’s a pretty stiff material that fits really well. It makes sure that the top doesn’t slide off (which happens with those really thin material off shoulder tops). Oh, and the colour is totally my shade. I am a sucker for bright colours and this orange really pops out!

Since the top has a pretty loose fit, I chose tight fitting jeggings. To accessorise, I chose wedge heels in the same color, a dainty black choker and an adorable floral wreath. The whole look was very feminine, bright and fun.

The best thing about this style is that it can be worn in the morning or night. Pair with jeggings and ballerinas for a casual day look and opt for a sexy tight fitting skirt, glittery accessories and high heels for a glam evening look.

Nobody can really say if this trend is here to say, but I am all for it!

Style tips:

  • Choose a pair of bottoms in a neutral colour like black or brown because the orange is very bright.
  • Pair it with a nice choker as the neck and shoulders are entirely exposed.
  • You can also tie up your hair into a high ponytail or a messy hair to show off your shoulders and accentuate the look.
  • If you want to go really bold, you can try colour blocking and pair the top with a bright coloured bottom in a contrast colour, like ink blue or even red.
