For all my life, I’ve been such a foodie. I spent my college days jumping from one restaurant to another, in search of yummy food. The concept of nutrition, health, weight management and a better lifestyle were all alien to me.

Whenever I met people who paid attention to what they were feeding their bodies, I used to scoff at them and say they didn’t know how to enjoy life. I had bets with tons of people that I would never be one of those people who would even speak the words ‘’Diet’’, ‘’Eating Healthy’’ and the like. Well, guess who’s changed now? Me, the hypocrite. Nothing drastic happened, except I was diagnosed with PCO (the illness that screws with your metabolism, weight and hormones) and obviously, I grew up.

Now, I’m very very careful about what I eat. No, it’s not like I’ve stopped going out and enjoying food, but I do so in a grown up manner. I pay attention to what’s in it and how it’ll effect my body. I have given myself a goal of getting fit by June (I’ll tell you the reason for that later!) and hence, I’m doing all I can to achieve it.
